As much as it shames to to admit, we all share a birthday today.
Last night I got to open my big birthday present, a Canon PowerShot SD870 IS. Our previous point and shoot camera has been held together with a piece of tape keeping the battery door shut for a couple of years and I wanted something to carry around in my purse instead of lugging around the big beast of a camera. Much playing was done with it last night, including a couple of unapproved belly shots. You won’t be seeing those belly shots. I do plan on trying to take one or having one of the kids take one later today when we’re stranded at the in laws.
Yes, we’re going to the in laws again. James needs to work on his truck and I need my mini-van not to turn a permanent shade of orange from him driving it down the mine roads. I frogged two blankets last weekend and found a relatively easy pattern for some of the yard for another baby blanket. Now if I can just remember where I put my knitting needles.
Before we head out to the middle of no where we’re heading to the movie theater to see Horton Hears a Who. I can’t figure out if I am more excited to watch this or if the kids are. This will be the first time Abby has gone to a movie theater, so it ought to be interesting.
And there’s my disjointed post to welcome in my 32nd year. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Heh
Oh, I asked WordPress to fix the comments not being emailed to me for my birthday, but considering I am the one who actually has to fix it I know I’m not getting it. I haven’t been ignoring your wonderful comments, I’ve just been trying to figure out how the heck to respond to them.
